What is the TQCSI SBQMC Code?
TQCSI’s Small Business Quality Management Code (SBQMC) is a standard to which companies can develop a quality management system and, with certification, demonstrate their compliance to fundamental quality management system requirements.
The Code is not intended as a replacement for ISO 9001 certification, rather it is based on the international standard, and is designed to fill a void for those smaller businesses who have no current requirement for ISO 9001, or who do not have the resources to implement and maintain it. The Code is designed to be easily developed into the full ISO 9001 Standard, as the business grows.
