IAF CertSearch Launched

Posted on October 30, 2019

At last! For years it has been difficult, and sometimes impossible, to establish the bona-fides of a certificate and therefore claims of ISO certification have been difficult for customers to verify.

TQCSI has always published our clients' certificates on our website and the JASANZ Register has duplicated relevant information. But, incredibly, most other certification bodies and accreditation bodies have not embraced the 20th century miracle of the internet!

Finally, IAF has launched a new website database called 'IAF CertSearch' as an exclusive global database for accredited management system certifications.

Currently, IAF CertSearch will only retain management system certifications accredited by IAF MLA signatories (eg ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000 & ISO/IEC 27001), however in the future this may be extended to other accredited certifications. IAF CertSearch enables industry to deliver on the 'one certified, accepted everywhere' tagline, through the ability to validate an accredited certificate easily, thereby truly facilitating the global trade of certified goods and services.

It is not compulsory for certification bodies to post their clients' certification on IAF CertSearch and some are slow in doing so. But you have to question "what would they be hiding" from not publishing the data.

IAF CertSearch also retains a register of accredited certification bodies (like TQCSI) and accreditation bodies (like JASANZ) so it is easy now to sort the wheat from the chaff!

Additional information is available on the IAF website and on YouTube.
