ISO 45001 has been approved as the first OHS management system standard!
Over the weekend 27-28 January, ISO voted 93% to approve the new Standard. Such a high approval vote illustrates just how urgently industry requires a truly international standard to base OHS management system upon.
Once published, there will be a three transition period and local standards such as OHSAS 18001 and AS 4801 will be replaced.
ISO 45001:2018 will be published 12 March 2018!
