All ISO management system standards (MSS) follow ISO's high-level structure, which has significantly improved the understanding and integration of MSS.
The high-level structure has been in use since 2012 through an instrument known as 'Annex SL'.
Annex SL is now being reviewed and a new version will be published in 2020.
ISO management system standards are continually evolving and improving.
