A top to bottom renovation of the TQCSI Office in Adelaide marks a new era for the company.

The Bates Group of Companies, TQCSI and JLB are celebrating their newly renovated office space this week after a 3 month, top to bottom renovation and modernisation of their 20 year old office block in Hendon, Adelaide.

During a regular monthly meeting, a unanimous decision was made to get a new coffee machine for the office, worth around $600. However, the planning and logistics for the coffee machine quickly spiralled out of control, leading to a complete overhaul of the office to the value of $600,000, rather ironically. Some of the larger changes to the modernised office space include; a new training room, complete interior re-design, new air conditioning, all new furniture, state of the art teleconferencing equipment to be used for TQCSI to meet virtually with Regional Offices in countries throughout the world, and of course, a great new coffee machine.

The Re-opening Ceremony on Monday showed many prominent SA business leaders attending to witness the Hon. Chris Schacht, who first opened Quality House 20 years ago, and John Bates on his 85th birthday, unveil the plaque.

The re-opening signifies nearly 30 years in business and humble beginnings for the Bates Group of Companies, who were established following a demand from the business community for a local, customer focused company to assist in third party certification. Since then, JLB and TQCSI have been heavily involved in the Adelaide business community, setting the industry benchmark for quality auditing and systems services. TQCSI now operates in 40 countries throughout the world.
